A quiet corner of the internet, kept for notes on dressing well in Hong Kong.

There is no theme here and no publishing schedule. Things get written down when they seem worth remembering — mostly the residue of paying attention to cloth, cut, and colour in a city that is unusually hard on all three.

The reason for writing any of it down is unglamorous: so that whoever I am in six months can find it. If you arrived here by accident and one of these notes saves you an afternoon in a fitting room, that is a pleasant side effect rather than the plan.

Everything here is personal experience. It is not a rulebook, it is not verified against your body or your budget, and it is certainly not a recommendation. Trust your own tailor over anything written here.
